Hello! I'm Kelly, I live in (in my humble opinion) one of the most beautiful places in England, Lincolnshire. I moved here recently with my husband and my two year old Pug 'Pudding' and its truly captured our heart with its amazing walks and nature.

I've always been an animal lover and had the great delight of spending my earlier days as a zookeeper looking after a huge array of animals, from the dainty birds and lizards all the way up to the Tapirs and Ocelots.. you could say there was never a dull moment! Any time I wasn't at the zoo, you would find me drawing wild animals or pets for friends and family.
But you know how it is, when you're younger you want a car, your own place... and before I knew it, I left zookeeping and went back to retail and office work. I stuck with this a few years before venturing out self employed on a few different but successful ventures, including training myself up as a Silversmith!

 

However, something always felt missing. You know what they say... what you're meant to do, will always call for you, and after putting the pencils down almost ten years ago last year I've found myself wishing for a slower, more meaningful way of life and decided it's now or never to get back to my dream.

I love all animals, but dogs will always have my full heart. A few years ago we lost our beautiful French Bulldogs Treacle (my best friend for eleven years) and Scrump (our lovely one eyed rescue) close to each other and I felt lost without them.. then enters Pudding.

She is the perfect companion, snuggling up with me all day in the studio next to the radiator whilst I draw all of your beautiful soul mates!
If i'm not working away, you'll either find me reading a fantasy book with a biggggg cup of tea, or trying to not scream at my plants getting pests for the thousandth time.
