Frequently Asked Questions
If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, please have a look through my Commissions/Prices page for information on ordering, or contact me.
I use mostly Faber Castell Polychromos pencils as they are some of the best pencils available on the market - they have incredible lightfast pigments which means they are designed to last and not fade. The paper I use is 300gsm acid free, hot pressed lightly textured for a classic finish.
I'm sorry! At the moment I only ship within the UK, however I will be expanding internationally in the future.
I currently take payments only via secure BACS / Bank transfer - you will receive an invoice with all the information needed.
Yes! The amount of pets I can draw in one piece is determined by the type of pet/size of paper, but multiple pets can be drawn from sizes A4 upwards - contact me for any queries and I can give you sizing advice and pricing.
I can draw whichever species of animal you would like as a custom, it doesn't have to be a pet! All I need is proof/confirmation that the photo I will be drawing from was taken by yourself or that you have written consent from the photographer that I can draw from the photo.
I currently do not draw people alone, but if a person is part of a sentimental photo (for example, your dog in your arms or your mother kissing the top of her cats head) I can possibly include these on a case by case basis.
Absolutely! I don't just draw cats, dogs and horses - be it your pet has fur, feathers, scales or anything in-between I would be honoured to draw them for you.
Yes, although most of my pieces are drawn with a plain background I am happy to discuss adding a background/partial background to your piece, the price of this will vary based on the detail you'd like and the size of the piece, please contact me for a personalised quote.
This information is likely to change over time due to demand/time of the year.
At the current moment please allow up to 4 weeks from payment of the deposit for me to draw your portrait.
I only accept a limited amount of commissions for each month, so once a month has been filled I will then be booking for the next available month - I will continue to update my social medias with this information, or please feel free to reach out for current time lines and availability.
If you have a certain date you need the piece for, please let me know when this is and I'll see what I can do for you.
Yes I do! Please contact me if you'd like to purchase a gift voucher, these can be sent either via email or I can send out a physical gift voucher (postage costs will need to be covered for a physical voucher).
Portraits are packaged ready to gift - for sizes A5, A4 and A3 this includes acid free tissue paper to protect the artwork, a presentation box with ribbon and a Certificate of Authenticity.
Larger portraits may need to be sent rolled, but this will be discussed on a case by case basis.
Mini portraits will arrive beautifully presented ready for gifting, but without the presentation box.
